I am an expert in creative coding and web motion graphics. My medium is the interweb and any device that has a micro processor. I’m working for independent clients and agencies.
I create, animate and code - preferably all at the same time! I enjoy finding new, unconventional and practical technical solutions that look good and are functional.
I have an excellent sense for the development and implementation of creative digital ideas. My skills make me an asset to both analog and digital teams.
In the past, I have worked for numerous agencies, both as a freelancer and as a permanent employee, dealing with all aspects of the digital craft.
After building my boutique business and an instructive time as an employee, I'm ready for new exciting digital projects again in 2022.
With my boutique company robaux I pursue my second passion, electronic music. Under this brand I design, engineer and build modular synthesizer hardware for thousands of musicians worldwide.
While starting a small family, I remotly worked part-time for the Cologne Internet Agency on more traditional web projects.
In my second term, I was able to sharpen my profile as a creative developer in many microsites and web special projects. During my time at the next Alster branch, I was also head of a small in-house creative tech lab that dealt with creative research and feasibility studies as well as mixed reality, IOT and prototyping.
For a short period of time, I am worked as a creative tech on digital ideas for both the agency's classic brands and new business.
For a while I worked again as a freelancer. Besides working on microsites and web specials, I deepened my knowledge in rapid prototyping and physical computing during this time.
In my first tenure, I developed games, interactive microsites and web specials, primarily in Flex/ActionScript, later with the emerging HTML5. As a coding art director, I was also a hub between creation and development.
For a short time I took a little break from freelancing and worked some months at the renowned digital agency as a Flex/Flash developer.
While the web was changing fundamentally and interesting digital projects were emerging, I ventured into self-employment as a hybrid art director and flash developer. I gained first experiences with big agencies and global brands.
In the advertising agency Das Tor, I took my first steps as an art director with large and small brands as well as business clients.
I start as a graphic designer. I created graphics for websites but also flyers, posters, booklets mainly for the contemporary art and music scene.
